Tranquility Park

In downtown Houston, close to I45, there is Tranquility Park. This park is named after the Sea of Tranquility where man first landed on the moon, on July 20th 1969. Today I visited this park with a colleague to shoot some pictures.

A bronze plaque, close to the BoA building reminds of the first words of Neil Armstrong and displays his first foot print on the moon.

During the spring and the fall the park is used for a lunch break by the employees of offices close by, like Shell and Wells Fargo.
